On September 29th it will officially be "Color Sunday"!!! The brilliant, bright colors of the leaves will probably be at their peak, making it a great time to sight-see on the Grand Mesa. You could also take the ski lift to the top of Powderhorn where you can get a birds eye view of the scenery. This time of year would be great for hiking. You might even come across wildlife... you could even see a moose! If you aren't much of a hiker, a nice drive to the top of the mesa could be just what you need. Color Sunday would be a fantastic day to be at the Mesa and don't forget to bring your camera.
