"Color Sunday"

 

   On September 29th it will officially be "Color Sunday"!!! The brilliant, bright colors of the leaves will probably be at their peak, making it a great time to sight-see on the Grand Mesa. You could also take the ski lift to the top of Powderhorn where you can get a birds eye view of the scenery. This time of year would be great for hiking. You might even come across wildlife... you could even see a moose! If you aren't much of a hiker, a nice drive to the top of the mesa could be just what you need. Color Sunday would be a fantastic day to be at the Mesa and don't forget to bring your camera.

   This locally owned pet store has been in business since 1976. One thing they are known for, is there large selection of rare tropical fish. Kidz Plex

   This place has a variety of things to do for many ages. Kids Plex offers a large indoor rock climbing center where there are courses for beginners and advanced climbers. They also have a gymnastics and dance programs. There is also a boys fitness class that is offered to help with athletic and sport training or just overall fitness. Featured in Grand Junction, this makes Kids Plex an easy place to enjoy different activities.

Ronnie Dunn

Ronnie Dunn is scheduled to perform in Grand Junction at Colorado Mesa University on September 21st! For those who don't know, Dunn is an acclaimed country music artist. He was originally in a duo known as Brooks and Dunn. If you are a CMU student, the tickets are free and for anyone else you can get yours at any close City Market or at the college for $20. If you are a Ronnie Dunn fan or a lover of country music, this should be a great concert to attend.
