Summertime fun at the downtown Farmers' Market

It's beginning to look a lot like spring, and before we know it summer will be on it's way! Famer's markets are always a fun event to look forward to in the warmer weather. On a warm summer Thursday evening in Grand Junction, Colorado, there is no better place to be than the downtown Farmers' Market Festival. Along four blocks of serpentine Main Street, traffic switches from  motorized to pedestrian and vendors and shoppers perfectly reflect the heart  and soul of Grand Junction — and a true taste of Colorado. - See more at: http://www.visitgrandjunction.com/summertime-fun-downtown-farmers-market

Tony Furtado

Tony Furtado is an indie record label's dream artist. He has lived primarily on the road for the last two decades. He is gregarious, engaging and entertaining, on and off stage. He's been called a genius on banjo and slide guitar, and his own creative interpretation-hybrid of Americana and indie folk/rock is engaging and captivating. Furtado has often been compared to Ry Cooder and Paul Simon in his latest albums as he guides his attention to detail and proclivity for traditional music into the pop framework. Onstage, whether playing with a band or solo, he owns the room, mixing stories of his travels with musicianship that is off the charts. - See more at: http://www.visitgrandjunction.com/tony-furtado-studio-kafm
